Experience Community Spirit at Hops and Heroes Alamo Edition Supporting Our Veterans
The heart of San Antonio will beat stronger this November as Nevermore Events Co. brings together craft beer lovers, BBQ enthusiasts, and community champions for a cause that matters deeply. Hops and Heroes: Alamo Edition is more than an event. It is a celebration of community, a tribute to veterans, and a powerful way to give back. Taking place November 6–7, 2026, at Alamo Beer Company, this two-day event promises unforgettable flavors, live entertainment, and a chance to support those who served.

Our Story
Nevermore Events Co. created Hops and Heroes to unite San Antonio’s vibrant community around a meaningful cause. The idea was simple: bring together the best of craft beer, championship BBQ, and local culture to honor veterans and support those in need. The founders recognized the power of community events to inspire connection and change. By hosting a festival that celebrates local talent and generosity, they aimed to create a space where people could enjoy themselves while making a real difference.
The event reflects a commitment to inclusivity and respect, inviting everyone to join in the spirit of giving. It’s a chance to share stories, savor great food and drink, and build lasting bonds. Hops and Heroes is a reminder that when communities come together, they can create positive impact beyond the festival grounds.
Honoring Our Heroes
At the core of Hops and Heroes is a mission to support veterans who have served our country. The event proudly partners with Haven for Hope, a San Antonio nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness, including many veterans. Haven for Hope provides shelter, healthcare, job training, and support services to help people rebuild their lives.
Every ticket sold for Hops and Heroes directly benefits Haven for Hope. This means 100% of ticket revenue goes to programs that provide veterans and others with a path to stability and hope. The festival is a way for attendees to show gratitude and contribute to a cause that changes lives. It’s a community-driven effort to honor sacrifice with action.
